SP - Maple Class Visit Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

Maple Class, at St. Paul's, had a wonderful day exploring nature at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve.
Maple Class had a wonderful day exploring nature at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve. The visit linked perfectly with their learning about habitats, wildlife and the importance of protecting our natural environment.
During the trip, pupils explored the reserve and observed a variety of plants, birds and other wildlife that call the area home. They discussed the different habitats found within the reserve and how animals depend on these environments to survive.
The children took part in guided activities which encouraged them to think like scientists, observing carefully and identifying different species. They were particularly excited to use binoculars and spotting guides to look for birds and other wildlife around the lakes and woodland areas.
The visit helped Maple Class develop a greater appreciation for the natural world and the importance of conservation. It was a fantastic opportunity to take learning outdoors and inspire curiosity about the environment around us.
